The NB2 Miata.

i did a thing:

2001 Miata. 57,000 miles on the clock. I was looking at two rustboxes north of me for dirt cheap, and on the day of my trip I happened upon this at a local used lot. I paid way too much, but post-2020 used prices are what they are..

Key reasons I went for this one?

• “Rust free” supposedly..

• Low mileage

• Body in good shape

….But why?

I’ve always liked these, especially the NA/NB chassis. I drove my mothers’ ND and fell in love. Back then I was on the fence between a 2018 Mustang vs. a 2018 Miata RF, the price was the same between the two, so I went for 8 cylinders.

I have many ideas for this car, but nothing is concrete for now. I’ll start by doing some maintenance and adding safety. Braces, Roll bars, Modern Lighting, etc.
